Ukrainian is an East Slavic language. It is the native language of the Ukrainians and the official state language of Ukraine. Written Ukrainian uses a variant of the Cyrillic script.

Ukrainian is spoken primarily in Western and Central Ukraine by 40 million people making it the third most spoken Slavic language by number of native speakers in the world!
