Vowels[baguhin | baguhin ang batayan]

Moroccan Arabic has 6 vowels: /a/, /i/, /u/, /e/, /o/, and /ə/. Vowels can be short or long, and the length can change the meaning of a word. For example, "bghit" means "I want," but "bghitii" means "I loved."

3. The letter "q" is pronounced like the English "k," but it is pronounced in the back of the throat.

4. The letter "h" is pronounced strongly in Moroccan Arabic.
