What's the climate in Mongolia?[edit | edit source]

  • Winter: temperatures drop to -30 ° C or -40 ° C, and there is little snow.
  • Spring: frightful season, because of sandstorms.
  • Summer: peaceful, but this is when most of the precipitation occurs. Temperatures are mild in the north of the country and very hot in the Gobi in the south. The nights are cool. July and August are the best months to travel to Mongolia.
  • Autumn: quickly freezing and it can snow as early as September.
