Third person pronouns in Georgian
Third person pronouns don’t have gender, but they expose the space location towards the first (speaking) person.
ეს | “this” | near the first person |
ეგ | “that” | near the second person (that near you) |
ის (იგი) | “that” | far from the first and second persons |
ესენი | “these” (pl.) | near the first person |
ეგენი | “those” (pl.) | near the second person ისინი “those” (pl.) – far from the first and second persons |
