Indefinite articles are used to indicate any member of a class of nouns. In Galician, the indefinite article is "un" in the masculine singular, "una" in the feminine singular, "uns" in the masculine plural, and "unhas" in the feminine plural.

Usage of Indefinite Articles

Indefinite articles are used in Galician in the following ways:

  1. Before a singular noun that is not specific:
    Examples:
    • Un coche - "A car"
    • Unha mesa - "A table"
  2. Before a plural noun that is not specific:
    Examples:
