তোমাৰাও বহু খুশি হোৱা। | tomārāu bôhu khushi hôwa. | You (plural) also seemed very happy. |
তেওঁলৈ চি চি কৰি বই পঢ়ি। | têolôi si si kôri bôi pôrhi. | They are making noise while reading a book. |
As shown in the examples, personal pronouns are usually placed before the verb in a sentence.
Possessive Pronouns
In addition to personal pronouns, Assamese also has possessive pronouns, which are used to indicate ownership or possession. The table below shows the possessive pronouns in Assamese along with their English translations:
