Central Khmer is the official language of Cambodia and it belongs to the Austroasiatic language family. Seasons
The four seasons in Central Khmer are:

- Central Khmer months are usually based on the lunar calendar, and each month has either 29 or 30 days.
- When speaking about a month, the word "ខែ" (khae) is often used after the month's name
