Forming the Future Tense
The future tense in Standard Moroccan Tamazight is formed by adding the suffix -ən to the verb stem. For example, the verb stem for the verb "to write" is ɣ- and the future tense of this verb is ɣən.
The future tense can also be formed by adding the prefix ɣa- to the verb stem. For example, the verb stem for the verb "to read" is ɛ- and the future tense of this verb is ɣaɛ.

Here are some examples of the future tense in Standard Moroccan Tamazight:

Usage

- ɣən ɣəməz ɣəd ɣəz ɣəd ɣəs ɣəd ɣaɣ ɣəd ɣaɛ - I will come, eat, speak, go and read (action that will take place in the future)
