In today's lesson, we will be discussing Odia pronouns. Pronouns are words that replace nouns in a sentence. They can be used to refer to people, places, things, or ideas. In Odia, there are several types of pronouns, including personal pronouns, possessive pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, and interrogative pronouns. Let's take a look at each type in more detail.

Personal Pronouns

Personal pronouns are used to refer to people or things. In Odia, there are three types of personal pronouns: singular, dual, and plural.

Singular

The singular personal pronouns are used to refer to one person or thing. The singular personal pronouns in Odia are:

  • ମୁଁ (mū̃) - I
  • ତୁମୁ (tumu) - you
  • ତେଉ (teu) - he/she/it

Dual

The dual personal pronouns are used to refer to two people or things. The dual personal pronouns in Odia are:
