In Bengali, attributive adjectives usually come before the noun they modify, whereas predicative adjectives come after a linking verb. Here are some examples:

      1. Attributive Adjectives
  • এটি হলুদ বই। (eti holud boi) - This is a yellow book.
  • সে বড় মানুষ। (se bor manush) - She is a tall person.
      1. Predicative Adjectives
  • তিনি সুস্থ। (tini sustho) - He/She is healthy.
  • আমি খুশি। (ami khushi) - I am happy.

It is important to note that Bengali adjectives agree in gender and number with the noun they modify.

Knowing the different types of adjectives and their placement in sentences is a fundamental aspect of learning Bengali grammar. Practice constructing your sentences using attributive and predicative adjectives to enhance your language skills.
