Formation of the Future Tense
The future tense is formed by adding the particle "rachaidh" after the verb. For example, the verb "can" in the future tense is "canaidh rachaidh." It is important to note that the root of the verb in the future tense does not change. For example, "can" remains as "can" and does not become "canaidh."

Future Tense Negative
To form the negative future tense, the particle "cha" is inserted before the future tense verb. For example, "will not" in Scottish Gaelic is "cha rachaidh."

Use of the Future Tense
The future tense is used to refer to events or actions that will happen in the future. It can also be used to express a strong intention or promise to do something. For example, "I will learn Scottish Gaelic" indicates a strong intention to learn the language.
Here are some additional examples of the future tense in use:
- Person 1: Tha mi a' smaoineachadh mun àite sin. (I am thinking about that place.)
- Person 2: An tèid sinn a-mach air an deidhinn? (Will we go out there?)
- Person 1: Bidh sinn a' tilleadh dhachaigh a dh'oilthigh gu h-iomlan. (We will return home to university entirely.)
