- Mandarin is a group of Sinitic languages[1] natively spoken across most of China. The group includes the Beijing dialect, the basis of the phonology of Standard Chinese.
- Chinese is the language with the most native speakers(About 1.3 billion people, approximately 16% of the world's population).
- Chinese is a tonal[2] language.
- Chinese is a logographic[3] language and has nearly eighty thousand unique characters that came from hieroglyphs[4].
