In today's lesson, we will be discussing the conditional mood in Telugu. The conditional mood is used to express a hypothetical situation or an event that may or may not happen in the future. It is also used to express wishes and desires.

Overview

The conditional mood in Telugu is formed by adding the suffixes -కు/-గా/-ని/-లేదు to the verb stem. The suffixes are added depending on the person and number of the subject.

Person and Number

The suffixes -కు/-గా/-ని/-లేదు are added to the verb stem depending on the person and number of the subject.

  • First Person Singular: -కు
  • Second Person Singular: -గా
  • Third Person Singular: -ని
  • Plural: -లేదు

Examples
