Hi Ukrainian learners! 😊

Welcome to the Complete 0 to A1 Ukrainian Course. In this course, you will learn the basics of the Ukrainian language and develop the skills and knowledge to reach an A1 level. With the help of our experienced teachers, you will learn the basics of Ukrainian grammar, build your vocabulary, and learn about Ukrainian culture and everyday life.

Let's take a look at the different sections that we will cover in this course.

Greetings and Introductions

  • Basic Greetings and Responses: Students will learn basic greetings such as ”good morning” and ”hello,” as well as the appropriate responses.
  • Introducing Yourself: This lesson will teach students how to introduce themselves and ask for someone’s name in Ukrainian.
  • Numbers and Counting: Students will learn the numbers from 1-20, as well as how to count higher numbers in Ukrainian.
  • Days of the Week: This lesson will teach students how to say and spell the days of the week in Ukrainian.

Basic Grammar

  • Introduction to Ukrainian Grammar: This lesson will give students an overview of the basic grammatical structures of the Ukrainian language.
  • Nouns and Gender: Students will learn how to identify and correctly use masculine, feminine, and neuter gender nouns in Ukrainian.
  • Plurals: This lesson covers the formation and use of plural nouns and adjectives in Ukrainian.
  • Verbs - Present Tense: Students will learn how to form and use present tense verbs in Ukrainian, including regular and irregular verbs.
  • Verbs - Past Tense: This lesson covers the formation and use of simple past tense verbs in Ukrainian.
  • Verbs - Future Tense: Students will learn how to form and use future tense verbs in Ukrainian, including regular and irregular verbs.

Ukrainian Culture

  • Geography: This lesson provides an introduction to Ukraine’s geography and regional diversity.
  • History and Traditions: Students will learn about Ukraine’s rich history, including its ancient and medieval origins, as well as its cultural traditions and customs.
  • Cuisine: This lesson covers the basics of Ukrainian cuisine, including traditional dishes and cooking methods.
  • Arts and Music: Students will be introduced to the vibrant arts and music scene in Ukraine.
  • Famous Ukrainians: This lesson profiles some of the most prominent figures in Ukrainian history and culture, including artists, writers, and politicians.

Everyday Life

  • At the Supermarket: This lesson teaches students vocabulary related to grocery shopping in Ukrainian.
  • Clothing and Fashion: Students will learn how to talk about clothing and fashion items in Ukrainian.
  • At the Doctor's Office: This lesson covers common vocabulary and phrases that students might encounter when visiting a doctor in Ukraine.
