you can just say adverbs such as :
dulu = in the past
kemarin = yesterday
minggu lalu = last week

then add the sentence. Unlike English or other European language, Bahasa Indonesia doesn’t have verb conjugation

so if you want to say
I ate an apple yesterday

you can just say
saya makan apel kemarin
subject : saya
verb : makan
object : apel
adverb : kemarin

We don’t have specific grammar like English done. Just add ”kemarin” for past (yesterday), minggu lalu (last week), ”tadi” (recently/lately), bulan lalu (last month), and so on
